ESHMS Award 2008

 

Call for nominations

 

    The European Society for Health and Medical Sociology (ESHMS), periodically confers a special award to a distinguished European scholar who has made a significant scientific contribution to the field of Health and Medical Sociology and to the development of the ESHMS. 

   Until now, the awarded scholars were George Brown (UK), Johannes Siegrist (Germany) and Judith Shuval (Israel).

    All the members of the Society who wish to propose a nomination, can address it to the Award Nomination Committee, stating a clear and evidence-based rationale for the proposal and including a detailed CV and references of the scholar proposed. 

    The proposals of nomination should be sent to the President of the ESHMS at guidogiarelli@tin.it. The deadline for no nominations is May 1 2008.
